Restoring MLK’s dream street by street…CNN

Ladies and gentlemen of the Atlanta Martin Luther King Jr Drive Merchants Association……The video in this post tells a great story of a great man Mr. Melvin White of St. Louis Missouri. Mr. White’s efforts to restore the communities around Martin Luther King Drive in St. Louis is a perfect example of your and our efforts here in Atlanta.

Please watch this video……Mr. White is to be admired as is Mr. Terry Collier of MLKJDMA. Mr. Collier has reached out to Mr. White and both are sharing ideas to better the communities in Atlanta, St Louis and elsewhere.

Together all of us are honoring Doctor King as we work together to improve our community.

The MLK Merchants supports these Events.

Superintendent Carstarphen and the school board believes in closing and merging schools because of capacity issues. They refuse to take into consideration the billions in development taking place throughout the city especially in the targeted areas where they
want to close or merge our schools.

On March 6, 2017, the board will vote on this issue. WE SAY VOTE NO! Our children and communities deserve to grow with the developments in our neighborhoods!

PLEASE STAND UP FOR THE CHILDREN AND OUR COMMUNITIES!
