Volunteers are needed.

Start/Finish Line Support: 
Volunteers will be placed where needed at the Start/Finish Line to assist with water station, family reunion area, provide directions and/or instructions.
Race Course Monitors:
Ensure that the race participants follow the correct race route and cheer them on. Various turns throughout the race route.
Water Stations:
Hand out water to race participants. This is a critical and rewarding volunteer position.

What is the date of the race

The race date is January 14, 2018. The start time for the Marathon and Half-Marathon is 7:00 AM EST.

Is this a timed race

Yes. The Marathon and Half-Marathon are timed events.

Is this a certified route?

The Marathon and Half-Marathon are under USATF Certification process.

Will there be medals awarded

Yes. All participants will receive a finisher’s medal after crossing the finish line.

Will there be race t-shirts for the participants?

Yes. All participants will receive a race t-shirt.

What is the distance between each race stop?

There will be a water/aid station every three miles.

Are there age group awards?

Yes. Awards will be given to the Overall, Masters and Age Group winners.

Is there SAG for the bike route?

Yes. SAG will be for the Marathon, Half-Marathon and Bike Tour.

Will there be a pre-race event with vendors selling products and services?

Yes. The Quality Of Life Expo will be held at Washington High School, 45 Whitehouse Dr. Atlanta, Ga.
